In 1972, I started my training in one of the oldest potteries in the Westerwald area. After 3 years of training and nine years as a ceramic painter in that workshop, I passed the examination for master craftswoman at the Fachschule für Keramik (Technical College for Ceramics) in Höhr-Grenzhausen.

In April 1982, the first oven was baked in our own workshop in Alpenrod. During time, the production and exhibition areas were expanded in several phases of construction up to 200 m&sup2.

As per today, 18 trainees (painters and potters) have successfully accomplished their training in our pottery.
